Let’s start with the bad news, and then we’ll have it behind us: the leather jacket, available in brown and black, is only suitable for the summer to a limited extent. Because there is no form of ventilation, nor can the lining be removed. As long as the temperatures do not rise significantly above 20 degrees, the Chester can definitely convince.

Ultra-thin protectors hardly noticeable

The test model in size 52 has very long sleeves, which suits the anatomy of the tester very much in this case. The collar, which can be closed with a push button, fits snugly without constricting. The inlet is made of 100 percent polyester and has two large inside pockets, one of which can be closed with a zipper. The outer material consists of 100 percent cowhide. Three outside pockets, all with zippers, offer space for small items. The long-cut jacket is naturally equipped with very thin Sas-Tec protectors with protection level 1 on the shoulders and elbows, which in practice are neither visible nor noticeable. A back protector is not included, this would have to be retrofitted.
