The Furygan X In requires a connection to protective equipment or to the motorcycle itself&Motion not for their work. According to the manufacturer, the airbag vest checks the position of the user 1,000 times a second. In an emergency, the airbag should trigger in just 60 milliseconds.

Airbag vest with level 2 back protector

In the&Motion Aitrbag vest also comes with a level 2 back protector, weighs only 1.3 kilograms and should have juice for 25 hours of driving. There is an LED display on the back, but the wearer can also use the “My In&box”-App controlled. The vest is designed to protect the neck, back, chest and stomach.

In order to further improve the unfolding algorithm, data is continuously analyzed, which is determined by thousands of drivers worldwide who have the In&Use motion airbags and use them on the road, on the racetrack or off-road. Depending on the area of ​​application, optional settings of the airbag vest can be selected, which then, for example, also take into account the lean angle and / or changes in driving style.

Replacement cartridge can be purchased

If the airbag is triggered in an accident and is not damaged, a replacement cartridge can be purchased. This is then housed in the back protector and the airbag vest is made ready for use again. Only after the third trip – or if the vest is damaged, of course – does the vest need to be sent back to Furygan for restoration.

The Furygan airbag vest costs 399.95 euros. In addition, there is a subscription to In&Motion for 12 euros a month or 120 euros a year for the In&Box, the system’s detection device. As an alternative to the subscription, the box can also be purchased for 399 euros. Regardless of whether it is a subscription or a one-off purchase, a track mode for the racetrack costs 25 euros per year or 8 euros per month.

Conclusion

With many modern airbag vests, a one-off price is not enough. But the follow-up costs can be worthwhile considering that the collected data constantly leads to helpful updates.
