The Vanucci VTB 9 accompanied us over hill and dale for almost 5,000 kilometers and made a good impression in the practical test.

The noble house brand Vanucci from the shop giant and mail order company Detlev Louis impressed us for a whole season with these robust on / off-road boots. Mainly because Tante Louise’s product developers have managed to combine the best of two worlds. Which is not that easy. Because often you buy a bland compromise that can neither do one nor the other really well.

Quality knows how to convince

The VTB 9, however, did not have an easy life. Long days of driving, bad weather, wild off-road excursions. And a wearer who in this life will no longer have a career as a professional shoe shine. Which of course would be indispensable in order to guarantee a high level of functionality in the long term.

Which is why the soft nubuck leather is given the appropriate care during the winter break (our tip: leather cleaner gel and leather balm from S 100). Because the new motorcycle year is just around the corner and the qualities of the waterproof enduro boot with its comfortable fit and the good one”Feetback” (great rest stop, safe step in the terrain) will be able to make us happy for at least one more season.

Conclusion

Vanucci’s enduro touring boots were quite convincing in the long-term test. The easy entry and the comfortable seat were particularly convincing. The VTB 9 is available from 219.99 euros.
