The bike industry is booming. More and more variants and models flow and streams on the market. For a lot of money are also available velos of wood available. Now a Berlin company has developed an e-bike that will certainly not be on the wrong path in the future.

The Wooden e-bike of aceteam has arisen with the idea to produce an electric bicycle made CO2-neutral. Instead of climate-damaging metal, CO2-binding wood is used. The natural material consumes eight times less energy when processing as aluminum.

24 kilos heavy
Already at first glance, the 24 kilogram heavy electric wheel is unfamiliar differently: its wooden fork is not bicycle-typically angular, but reminiscent of the form of an eye. The battery control unit is not recognizable because it is fitted in the laminated wooden frame. This integrated construction protects the electronics before the weather.
The eight-part frame and the fork of the wooden e-bike consist of form glued ash fines. The 250 watt engine supports the driver until the speed of 25 km / h. The battery is enough for about 60 kilometers. The wooden e-bike is produced in a small series and starts from 3600 euros.
