The KTM subsidiary WP Suspension had already announced that it would expand in the street motorcycle sector. The first retrofit spring elements are now available for the BMW S 1000 RR.

WP Suspension only announced in mid-July that it would be expanding its portfolio to include premium running gear for road use. With the refocusing, high-quality chassis components should also be available for retrofitting street motorcycles. The new focus on the street market is brought about by an update of the company logo and the introduction of the new claim “suspension” accompanied.

With the Apex Pro Components, demanding motorcyclists should be offered a steadily growing selection of cartridges, forks, suspension struts and steering dampers. With the new chassis components, WP Suspension wants to rely on the highest material quality, lowest manufacturing tolerances and especially performance-oriented innovations. All chassis components can be adapted to the needs of the driver and to every driving situation using a variety of setting options.

Complete package for BMW S 1000 RR

For the first time, WP Suspension presents suspension components that are specially designed for the BMW S 1000 RR were tailor-made. This sports package consists of an Apex Pro 7746 shock absorber, an Apex Pro 7500 cartridge system and an Apex Pro 7117 steering damper. The aim is to further improve the chassis performance of the Bayern athlete on the racetrack and on country roads. The retrofit spring elements are suitable for machines built in 2019 and 2020.

Conclusion

WP Suspensions now also offers retrofit spring elements for street motorcycles. The components derived from racing should meet the highest demands.
