The copy is considered a true art form in China. The better you hit the original, the greater the fame that radiates on you. The makers of the Xinshiji Finja 500, which is now being presented in China, should be in the limelight.

The fully disguised mid-range athlete fits in seamlessly with the copies of well-known Japanese and European two-wheeled models. At first glance, the Finja – note the derivative of Ninja – actually looks like a Kawasaki ZX-10R, as it was built until 2020. If you take a closer look, you will recognize the clone.

Kawasaki.

The Kawasaki ZX-10R was clearly the inspiration.

Under the cladding in the Xinshiji Finja 500, a 500cc two-cylinder parallel twin with around 50 hp works. The Finja is thus far removed from the around 200 HP strong 1,000 ninja from Japanese production. The execution of the Finja is still impressive. The front wheel has a USD fork that looks like the Showa BFF fork, but is probably not from Showa. The double disc brake system on the front wheel relies on radially hinged calipers in the Brembo M50 look, even an ABS ring can be seen on the rim.

The instrumentation in the cockpit, the indicators integrated into the mirrors and the black and green color scheme are also clearly in the direction of Kawasaki.

In China, the Xinshiji Finja 500 is available for the equivalent of around 1,600 euros. It should never reach other markets.

Will the Chinese become serious competitors for the established motorcycle manufacturers??

Yes, they learn quickly.

No, they never reach their level.

Conclusion

With the Xinshiji Finja 500, another bold copy comes onto the Chinese market, and probably only this one. This is how at least the Chinese can feel at a very small rate, like the multiple Superbike world champion Jonathan Rea.
