Yamaha has introduced the YZF-R1M for the upcoming model year. The 2017 R1M is limited and will soon be available for online registration.
All those who last distributed the Yamaha YZF-R1M received nothing, can apply for a 2017 R1M soon. Online registration for the Yamaha YZF-R1 – Limited Edition 2017 will be possible from October 11, 2016.
According to a Yamaha press release, the new Yamaha YZF-R1M, which will also be street legal, is aimed at experienced and ambitious supersport enthusiasts, private racers and racing teams. Therefore, all interested parties must fill out a detailed registration form, which should decide on the allocation of the limited bike.
Yamaha has also given the new R1M a slightly revised design. The already familiar paintwork has been spruced up with new graphic elements. Furthermore, all owners of a new Yamaha YZF-R1M will be invited to the Yamaha Racing Experience next year. The two-day events are scheduled to take place on some popular European racetracks in summer 2017.
