Proud of the success of the 2003 limited edition, BM brings out the war paints for its R 1100 S. Child of the Munich-style race, the R 1100 S Replika sports more virulent colors for 2004, surprising for a BM; but class and sport skillfully blend together. The previous Replika was satisfied with a specific decoration and damping – the news goes further: the silencers are exchanged for a pair of approved Laser, the chassis is that of the racing model, the mirrors are no longer fixed on the fork crown but on the handlebars (they are much easier to remove to take the machine on the track).

Limited in power in France, the Replika can (on circuit only) benefit from a boost in watts compared to the standard model thanks to a Laser chip (not supplied as standard). We also find the sport shoe and carbon cylinder head covers filed on the sides. With the Replika, you access the sports department of BMW Motorrad; thus, no option is available (it does not make a pair of suitcases …), forget the ABS and enjoy a motorcycle that will make you smell the Boxer Cup.
