Complete renovation

New design, new technology, new electronics – a completely renewed Ducati Monster 1200 will be exhibited at EICMA 2016.

Slimmer tank, redesigned rear, new headlights and the electronics package from the 1299 Panigale, that’s how the new Ducati rolls M.onster 1200 at. If you turn the ignition key, the current Testastretta with 150 hp at 9,250 / min produces around 23 hp * more than the previous Monster 1200 and 13 hp * more than the previous Monster 1200 S. The maximum torque of 126.2 Newton meters is 7,750 / min. The big monster now also meets the Euro 4 standards.

The Testsastretta is a supporting element in the tubular space frame. The new single-sided swing arm and the new cast aluminum footrests are attached to it. The electronics package from the 1299 Panigale now provides pilots of the new Ducati 1200 Monster with three different mappings: Sport, Touring and Urban, as well as Bosch cornering ABS and wheelie control.

Ducati Monster 1200 S version

The S version is also equipped with a 48 mm Ohlins fork and an Ohlins shock absorber – both fully adjustable, two 330 mm Brembo discs with Brembo M50 monobloc fixed calipers at the front, Y-spoke wheels with “S" -Graphics and a front fender made of carbon and a headlight with daytime running lights and LED indicators.
