Your thing is to trudge on rolling paths? And do you like the Ducati Scrambler? Then the Desert Sled is for you. Not intimidated for two cents by the maquis, the back corners of Larzac or the dawn of a Californian desert, the machine wants to catch those moments of dust that we like to express in the evening during the aperitif.

Some small improvements have been on the program since 2019. None change its missions; Ducati is simply taking an opportunity to upgrade a series of elements. We also note the arrival of an “Off-road” driving mode deactivating the ABS, automatic stop indicators, a new DRL light signature, more ergonomic stems and the Ducati multimedia system. We will be able to connect our smartphone, playlists and calls with the Scrambler.

Kayaba elements develop 200mm of travel both front and rear. This Scrambler benefits from better ground clearance and a higher saddle perched, 860mm from the ground.

Of course, spoke rims are a must. 19 inches at the front and 17 at the rear, with tires suitable for touring, Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR. When it comes to braking, there’s what it takes with a 330mm disc complete with a Brembo M4.32 4-piston radial caliper at the front. Behind, there is a 245 mm with a piston.

a small change on the engine side in 2020. The small block is Euro5 validated, without losing its capacities. Like other Scramblers, the Desert Sled trusts the 73 horsepower of the 803cc twin.
