In the Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary series, here is the most accessible: the Sportster 1200 Custom. More shy than his colleagues Softail, Dyna or CVO? More fun especially. Forget the pachydermal and exuberant side of the Electra and Road Glide CVO version … Forget the Fat Boy and Super Glide Custom… The XL 1200 is alive, charming, much lighter and maneuverable than the emblematic figures of the American manufacturer.

With this special edition, it’s a triple dose of satisfaction: a playful chassis (for a Harley), a fast-paced engine, and commemorative styling. The two-tone Vintage bronze / black paint is immediately noticeable; then, the connoisseur’s eye is delighted by discovering various elements badged 110th anniversary, a numbered plate on the tank, the saddle with two-tone coating, and, the highlight of this edition, a medallion made of forged solid bronze and black nickel plated, is then weathered to bring out the metal. 1,500 copies of the 110th anniversary Sportster 1200 Custom will be produced, for a price of 11,790 euros.
