The Hebo XTR protector jacket convinces at first glance with its good features. Can the first impressions be confirmed in the practical test??

Such a protector is usually right inside the jacket, but sometimes not in exactly the right place when it matters. In addition, the chest area remains largely unprotected for the sake of comfort and practicality. These deficiencies can be remedied wonderfully with a protector jacket that fits closely to the body.
Also washable thanks to removable protectors
The XTR model from the manufacturer Hebo shows that such a solution not only makes sense in trial sports, but also for safety-oriented bikers and fashion-conscious city commuters whose leisure jackets lack the necessary protection. The Hebo jacket is equipped with chest and back protectors as well as shoulder and elbow protectors.
Thanks to the zipper running on the side between the collar and hipbones, entry is playful without having to divide the chest protector. The carrier material consists of breathable polyester and has a stretch property. It lies comfortably on the skin, there are no pressure points. The workmanship leaves a great impression. A silicone insert on the waistband reliably ensures that the jacket does not slide up during use. The protectors are removable, the jacket is washable.

Conclusion
The Hebo XTR protector jacket made a very good impression in the first practical test. The wearing comfort, breathability, freedom of movement and, last but not least, the protective properties were particularly convincing. Prices start at 145 euros.
