To celebrate the 70 years of the inescapable manufacturer Honda, its Swiss subsidiary is launching a new special series of the CB 1000 R. Its name is perfect for the occasion: the Seventy Limited Edition. With in addition to the object a small “Swiss” to properly establish its place of creation and its objectives of seduction.

This big anniversary, the big Honda roadster honors it with a well-felt customization. First, to remember this number, this CB 1000 R has it in several places. Number plates arranged (as usual) on the sides of the stern would not have really had their place – so, we implanted special covers under the tank. The 70 appears there in a good position. It is also found on the mini screen, the radiator scoops, and on … one side of the tank. A little joke that is sure to charm observers.

The name “Seventy” is more discreet, with stickers at the beginning of the seat cowl, in the center of the handlebars and on the upper branches of the rear frame. Here, three numbers indicate the number of this machine in its limited series.

100 copies. No more no less. Why not 70? Which would have been an additional nod to the anniversary in question. Do not seek.
On the other hand, you have to take the time to appreciate all the elements added to the CB 1000 R. To accompany the special paint with copper reflections, or taste the license plate holder, the rear mudguard and the side covers (the badges 70) in anodized aluminum. Parts prepared in Honda Switzerland workshops.
To sing about its 145 hp 4-cylinder, Akrapovic takes care of the soundtrack through a titanium silencer, with a carbon end cap and thermal protection. Rizoma mirrors and Kellerman integrated indicators are also found on this bike..

In this 70th anniversary tribute, the CB 1000 R is more desirable and of a higher level of finish. We could almost understand better the concept of “Neo Sports Cafe” that Honda has mixed in its last productions of roadsters..
