Honda ST 1100 PAN EUROPEAN 1997

Menus

BMW reigning in the GT market, Honda created a model intended to thwart its dominance. A successful bet for the Pan-European, which has become a benchmark in the circle of Grand Touring truckers. Praised for its many qualities as a traveler, the ST 1100 relies on an engine specifically designed for it: a discreet, economical, and particularly robust transverse V4.. Power is sufficient in most cases but may be limited under certain conditions.

This big GT weighs its weight. It is not a Goldwing but we are approaching 300 kgs. Having fun is not a priority in the specifications. The ST does not encourage you to be silly, rather to travel peacefully in great comfort. The pilot will not have much to reproach him with; the passenger will find that at his level, BM is doing a little better. Honda’s pleasure craft, the Pan demonstrates top-level finish, equipment and reliability. The handling is very healthy but it is the braking that deserves the most compliment. From 1992, this vessel is equipped with ABS. 4 years later, it is the Dual-CBS (front and rear brake coupling system) and the TCS (anti-skid) which reinforce safety. With this gear, you have nothing to worry about whatever the conditions. With all these options, the bill rises to more than 100,000 francs (15,000 euros). The price of an excellent touring machine with a lot of technological refinements.
