Transporting bulky goods on a motorcycle is always a tricky task. The accessories provider Mastech has now presented a carrier system with which a bicycle can be transported on the rear of the motorcycle.

The wheel is clamped and clamped

The carrier made of square steel tube is mounted on an existing topcase carrier base plate. A longitudinal element takes the bike with the front wheel removed on the front axle clamp and on a crank.

The bike rack may not be used in Germany.

It is secured with loops and clamping screws. Two additional lashing straps brace the handlebars with the motorcycle. The removed front wheel finds its resting place on a support element that can be set up. Here the wheel is clamped with its axle. When not in use, the carrier is folded up to save space.

The bike rack is available in the Mastech online shop for around $ 250. The whole story has a catch, of course. Mastech is based in Colombia and sells its system exclusively in South America and Australia. Such transport of bicycles is not permitted in Germany because the entire body protrudes too far beyond the vehicle.
