With the Racetec RR, Metzeler would like to meet the requirements of the riders of supersport motorcycles from the 1960s to 1990s and cites the strengths of this tire:

  • excellent grip in all conditions, both on the road and on the racetrack. The tread mixture and the structure of the tire profile should ensure even heat distribution from the tread to the sidewalls, even on long straights
  • Precision and stability at high speed. The tire has a high level of self-damping and thus absorbs the unevenness of the asphalt
  • Lasting performance at the best level throughout the life of the tire.

The Metzeler Racetec RR is also able to tame the often aggressive driving behavior of classic superbikes. tame. The manufacturer sees the reason for this primarily in the damping properties of the carcass and tread. In addition, the Metzeler Racetec RR has a bi-compound tread on the rear wheel, which should offer excellent grip in corners and outstanding stability at high speeds.

Also good news: The Metzeler Racetec RR is approved for normal road traffic in all dimensions and mixtures with the speed index W.
