The fruit of the passion of a handful of Guzzi engineers, the V 11 has elegantly made its entry into the market. Heir to the charm of a glorious era for the Italian brand, this bike is simply beautiful. Bewitching with its generous forms and its monumental engine, this spiritual girl of the old V 7 S charms as much as it imposes. A must-have for the Mandello firm, the twin with transverse cylinder heads participates as much in the aesthetics as in the life of this bike. This mill is not new. Coming from the Calif, we reworked it to make it more powerful. Result: almost 90 hp at 8000 revs but a lack of gniak in the 4000 zone. It is torquey and flexible, picking up low in the turns, but the main thing is to feel the piston strokes and this famous sway when we gas up. Best for the box, but still requires attention to have a good report. Driven with gusto, the V 11 shows its old-fashioned roadster face … and its grimaces when you arsouille. You have to get your muscles out for her to obey. However, we can count on great stability once set on its trajectory. Suffering from a lack of rigidity, the chassis, like the suspensions, suffer on damaged roads or at high speed. Done …! So, drop that beat that would sound better with a GSX-R. The Guzzi is made to roll up, to get out of bends by the big thrust of the twin, let yourself be intoxicated by your character … in short, vibrate on your handlebars. We also enjoy braking. Brembo Gold Series game works flawlessly.

Of course, Guzzi offers us a great machine with a strong temperament. Magnificent, temperamental, well finished, the V 11 turns heads. The Italian factory has unfortunately forgotten to be kind to the price. But, does it really matter to such a gorgeous lady? ?!?
