Moto-Guzzi 1200 BREVA 2011

Menus

History of reinforcing a little the couple and the availability at mid-speeds, the large Breva changes volume and boosts its twin with transverse cylinder heads. From 1064, the Mandello block increases to 1151 cc. More than 9 horses won and a torque that exceeds 10 mkg. It doesn’t adopt 4-valve-per-cylinder technology though – that would certainly give it more watts, but perhaps too sporty for its niche and its philosophy. For this, there is the 1200 Sport or the Griso.

Apart from the increased displacement, the 1200 Breva is strictly similar to the 1100. Same elegant profile, pleasant and very complete dashboard, rigorous chassis and optional ABS. A little caution, however: with its large displacement, its motor character, and its weight close to 250 kg with the refueling, the Breva does not approach like a 650 Bandit. A little experience and humility must be part of the code of conduct. The motorcycle can then reveal all its charm and joviality, and the delicacy of its comfort (a little dry however).
