MV Agusta F4 RC – model year 2018

New coat of paint, no Euro 4

MV Agusta presents the latest version of the F4 RC. New is to be understood primarily in the optical sense. And yet it could be the last of the powerful F4’s.

For 2018, the MV Agusta F.4 RC made a few changes, but these are mainly limited to color adjustments. Subtle would be the most appropriate term, because the most striking detail compared to last year is the red rims. Technically, the two model years don’t really differ.

The electronics package is still state-of-the-art. The ABS from Bosch comes with a race mode and lift reduction for the rear wheel. Ohlins chassis, Brembo brakes and TIG chassis give the MV Agusta F4 RC a respectable overall package, if there is no Euro 4 bugbear.

MV Agusta is currently selling the F4 with a special permit, which is valid until the end of 2018, since the conversion to Euro 4 is a major problem for the ailing Italian company. MV Agusta will find it difficult to get a similarly powerful bike up and running in the near future. The 2018 model comes with street legal 205 HP, which can be increased to 212 horses with a race kit. The MV Agusta F4 RC for the 2018 model year could possibly be the last of its kind. In Germany, the model, limited to 250 pieces, will cost just under 40,000 euros.
