KTM SX-E 5
Electric crosser for children
KTM presents a new electric motorcycle for children. The new KTM SX-E 5 is a real crosser with a performance similar to that of a KTM 50 SX.
Tea KTM SX-E 5 relies on an air-cooled electric motor of up to 5 kW, which is fed by a compact lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 907 Wh. Six performance modes make it easier for beginners to get started, but full-power modes also give the fastest juniors their money’s worth. In addition, the drive is extremely low-maintenance and almost noiseless.
Variable seat height
The chassis of the KTM SX-E 5 is adjustable in terms of seat height and is aimed at drivers between three and ten years of age. There is a lowering kit for the little ones. A WP XACT 35 air suspension fork with 205 mm suspension travel guides, bounces and dampens at the front, while a WP XACT shock absorber is installed in the center at the rear. There are also disc brakes on both wheels, a butted aluminum handlebar and a tubular steel frame with a rear frame made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic.
The new KTM SX-E 5 will be available from autumn 2019 at a price of 4,995 euros plus additional costs.
