To ensure the succession of Vincent Philippe alongside Etienne Masson and Gregg Black, the official Suzuki team in the 2020 EWC World Endurance Championship calls on former Belgian Grand Prix rider Xavier Simeon.

"Vincent Philippe, our legendary pilot, has decided to set off on new adventures after 16 years of common history and a 9th victory at the Bol d’Or this year", recalls the Suzuki Endurance Racing Team with "a lot of emotions and gratitude".

Speed ​​rider (Superstock, Moto2 and MotoGP), Xavier Simeon will therefore ride the SERT motorcycle in 2020 after winning the 600 Superstock title in 2006 and taking the FIM Superstock 1000 podium in 2009.

For Damien Saulnier, new SERT team manager since Dominique Meliand, "the arrival of Xavier Simeon heralds a great season with three drivers who already know each other. His GP experience is an undeniable asset. Etienne, Gregg and Xavier have the same profile and I am sure that their collaboration will create a very good dynamic within the SERT ".

From R1 to GSX-R
