Price of the new Yamaha Tricity 300 3-wheel scooter
Unveiled in Milan this fall, the new Tricity 300 scooter accessible to holders of a car license joins the Yamaha 3-wheel range alongside the Tricity 125 scooter and the Niken motorcycle..
Derived from the 3CT prototype, the new Tricity 300 presented at length on MNC this fall is aimed at the "high-end sector of urban mobility in Europe", according to Yamaha, which promised a "competitive" price…. but still unknown until today.

The veil is now lifted on the price, since this new 3-wheeled scooter Tricity 300 will be displayed at € 7,999 including tax, or 1,500 euros more than the MP3 300 HPE (6,499 €) and 600 euros less than the recent one. MP3 350 (€ 8,599). Yamaha played it against the Piaggio (s), reference in the tripod segment since … 2006 !
Available from July 2020 in the, the Tricity 300 is offered in three colors: Nimbus Gray, Tech Kamo and Gunmetal Gray. Accessible to holders of the B license, the Tricity 300 is advertised as "manoeuvrable" with its steering multi-axle system and its modern 292 cc single cylinder (Vs 278 cc for the MP3 300 and 330 cc for the MP3 350).
This 28 hp scooter (Vs 26.2 for the MP3 300 and 30.6 hp for the MP3 350) is also equipped with a tilt lock (TLA), convenient to stabilize it when stationary without putting down the moccasin dismount and maneuver it with the engine off. Yamaha has learned the lesson of the Tricity 125, which ignored this popular device to save weight !
