The No. 1 Suzuki of SERT has just won at Magny-Cours after a constant fight against very serious competitors !

This 13th SERT victory at the Bol d’Or comes at the end of a 73rd edition carried out drastically until the early hours, when its main rival, the GMT n ° 94 piloted by Sebastien Gimbert, David Checa and Erwan Nigon, has again been forced to abandon (read).

However, the Suz ‘pilots – Vincent Philippe, Freddy Foray and Olivier Four, well done to them and to their great chef Dominique Meliand! – did not have time to relax their efforts because behind, a Bibendum kept up the pressure…

On arrival, the Honda team n ° 63 of the Michelin Power Research Team (William Coste, Josep Monge and Matthieu Lagrive) thinks they have finished in a very good 2nd place just three laps from the GSX-R which completed , in 24 hours, 815 laps … before learning that the bike is relegated to tenth by decision of the FIM, read) !

The "first finish podium" of this Bol d’Or 2009 is completed by a third mark: led by Freddy Foray, Kenny Noyes and Xavi Fores, the Kawasaki GSR n ° 11 – which, following the decision of the FIM, is therefore second! – proves to skeptics that a ZX-10R can perform well … and reliable! The Ninja finishes four laps behind the CBR 1000 RR of William Costes, Josep Monge and Matthieu Lagrive.

Also a great host of this Bowl, YART n ° 7 (Igor Jerman, Steve Martin and Gwen Giabbani) is crowned world champion, despite an end of the race cloistered in its stand. For the enjoyment of the public – and for his! -, the Austrian team, new 2009 world champion, nevertheless wanted to bring out its R1 to cover the very last laps.

Too often criticized, 4th place first fully satisfies the Fire Brigade Team who were … hot, of course: not only Suzuki n ° 41 which chased them crossed the finish line 19 seconds after n ° 18, but on the green carpet the firefighters meet in the evening on the third step of the podium! With 783 laps, the AM Moto Racing team ranks 6th provisionally (and therefore 5th definitive, you understand the principle!).

Finally, the "small" Ducati 848 n ° 78, a little lonely in the Open category after the abandonment of the Metiss n ° 45 which had nevertheless fought very well, crossed the finish line in the 31st position. Bravissimo !
