Unveiled at the last Eicma show in Milan, the new Brutale 1000 and the neo-retro Superveloce 800 have not yet left the MV Agusta factory as their 600 "Serie Oro" units have already all been sold.. The official stunter of the Varese brand – our compatriot! – Thibaut Nogues took charge of "slashing" a bottle…

In November 2018 on the occasion of "his" international motorcycle show in Milan (Italy), MV Agusta presented two new models: a new Brutale 1000 particularly beast and the classic version of the sophisticated F3 800, called Superveloce.

The small – but indestructible – manufacturer from Varese did not specify at the time under what conditions his two new motorcycles would be put on sale. Finally and like the F3 675, the two machines were the subject of a first series limited to 300 copies, bookable via the internet..

In "just a few days" according to MV Agusta, the two "Serie Oro" have found takers, despite – or thanks to? – elitist prices: count at least 43,000 euros to acquire the Brutale (42,999 euros in Italy) and 28,000 euros for the Superveloce … That is a gross – brutal! – turnover of 21.3 million for the Italian brand and its Russian investors !

"600 enthusiasts from all over the world have shown their unwavering desire for our iconic brand and our unique motorcycles," said Brand General Manager Timur Sardarov. "We will do everything to ensure that they are proud to own an exclusive piece and a true work of art of the motorcycle".

The release of the maxisportif maxiroadster is scheduled for November 2019 and that of the neo-retro sportswoman for March 2020.

"We are delighted with the success of these two launches", continues the big Russian boss. "It proves that we are on track to continue the glorious MV Agusta tradition of constant innovation, breathtaking performance and superb design" …. Not to mention buzz, trash or "What The Flute" videos !

At the same time as the announcement of the triumph of its two limited series – which will give rise to larger series? -, MV Agusta has posted on social networks a video inspired by the Bottle Cap Challenge, a challenge consisting in unscrewing the cap of a bottle by performing a return kick…

To participate in the viral phenomenon of this early summer 2019, the Italian brand called on its best rider: it is not the Swiss Dominic Aegerter or the Italian Stefano Manzi – respectively 19th and 20th in the Moto2 championship with 12 and 10 points -, but from French Nogues, Thibaut Nogues !

Official freestyler of MV Agusta since the beginning of the year (2019), he took advantage of a visit to the transalpine factory to slash the champagne uncork a bottle with a severely "burned" rear tire. A brief cabriole which says a lot about the high level of mastery of our national James Bond !

The readers of Site – who, as everyone knows, have a little more RAM than others – remember that Thibaut Nogues had distinguished himself on the Internet in 2014 thanks to his stunt video in which he played the role of famous british secret agent with number 007.

Contacted at the time by the Journal moto du Net, the handsome guy from the "French Riviera" was then sponsored by the MV Agusta dealership in Monte Carlo but also – and above all – drove his personal GSX-R. His goal then was to work directly for MV Agusta. Mission accomplished !
