Announced 10 years ago (read), the Dainese wireless Airbag system arrives this year in French stores via a 100% track product: the D-Air combination.

The concept has evolved a lot since the first prototype unveiled in 2000 in Munich (see video below), and even the version presented in 2006 differs greatly from the final product since the Italians decided to house the Airbag inside itself. of the combination.

Established in Grand Prix by Marco Simoncelli and Simone Giorgi in particular in 2007 (read), then brought to the highest level by Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo (read), this Dainese jumpsuit with incorporated Airbag is finally available to ordinary people … or almost !

Indeed, at 2899 € the end, this equipment is not yet intended for Mr "everyone"!
