The Piaggio group plans to reopen on May 4 its scooter manufacturing plant in Pontedera (Italy) and those of its Aprilia and Moto Guzzi motorcycle brands, in agreement with the Italian government and the unions of the three companies.. Explanations.

"The Piaggio group has signed memoranda of understanding with the unions of the Italian factories of Aprilia (Noale and Scorzè in Venice) and Moto Guzzi (Mandello del Lario) which define the measures to be implemented to guarantee maximum protection of the health of workers during the resumption of production currently suspended due to the Covid-19 virus ", reports the transalpine group. 

This resumption of the manufacture of motorcycles and scooters will take place as soon as the confinement in Italy is lifted, scheduled for May 4 after the country recorded for the first time this week a drop in the number of patients..
