While Couki firmly held the controls of the Challenge Ducati, first round of, with his impressive time of 0’44.061, a newcomer has just stolen the provisional pole at 13:45 with a brilliant time of 0’44.026, or 35 small thousandths of a ‘advanced !

Back on the course of Couki, fan of Randy de Puniet, who does not yet have a motorcycle license but who has already entered the annals of the GP Challenge Site 2010 by remaining for 6 days in a row at the head of the provisional classification … Attention, its replica should not delay !

Site: Hello Couki and first of all, congratulations on this very impressive time of 0’44.061 which allowed you to stay at the top of the provisional general classification for almost a week! Who are you ?
Couki : I am a 20-year-old student, I am studying business and management. To be honest, it was my brother who told me "why don’t you try to win this headset? It looks excellent! Plus you’re pretty good at video games!" My first motivation was of course the greed, a super beautiful helmet! But there was also the competition aspect and I love the challenges … As for my nickname, Couki, it’s very simple: it’s just the name of my dog !

MNC: Rather road or rather circuit ?
Couki : I don’t have a motorcycle license but my brother has an SV 650, which allows me to take him for road trips. But I think I will pass the motorcycle license this summer! So I’m more of a road and a fan of Randy de Puniet !

MNC: How do you find the Ducati Challenge, first round of the GP Challenge Site 2010 ?
Couki : The game is really good, it reminds me of Superbike 2000 and that’s a compliment! Very good playability, excellent ergonomics and for motorcycles there is nothing to complain about !

The new provisional leader: Along !

"I’m 29 years old, I work in IT and I love video games. Along is the nickname I have been using for several years … but I don’t know why originally 🙂 the motorbike license, I am more on the road (practical for traffic jams, when it is not snowing like at the moment).

The game, I found it by chance while surfing motorcycle sites through Google. My motivation: to spend a little time at work 🙂 And the first prize, anyway! I find the game very successful for an "online" game of this type, even if obviously we are not at the level of real sensations !

My computer is a Core 2 Duo E8400 / 4 GB DDR2 / Radeon HD 4670 assembly PC with Microsoft keyboard and Dell 24 ” monitor. My 1st time must have been very poor, within 1 min 30 I believe (1’16.684 very precisely, Editor’s note).

I had not yet seen the , so no I did not take advantage of the advice of other players. My advice: insist on the game, make multiple attempts with different trajectories. But the score that allowed me to be first, I can’t necessarily do it again … "

Info or intox ? Along still keep a little under the handle? Will Couki manage to regain control? A newcomer from the depths of the web will he seize the best time? Who will ultimately win the Shoei X-Spirit II Replica of the Challenge Ducati? Suspense … Stay connected !

MNC: what is the configuration of the computer on which you play the GP Challenge Site ?
Couki
: I play on an Acer laptop PC running Windows XP with an ATI Radeon X Press 11000 graphics card and 1GB of DDR2. It is therefore not a beast of competition and moreover I play in "Low graphic quality" (in the Options of the game, Editor’s note) because otherwise my PC is paddling too much…

MNC: your very first time was a modest 1’26.246 … which shows that nothing is ever lost !
Couki : Yes, I remember that I had struggled to finish the lap and that my time was not good, but I saw that I could quickly improve it! I already remember when I was in the lead with a time of 0’46 … The next day when I plugged in, MattFly had passed me, I was furious! So I tried to repeat it and I think I took an hour! I would also like to say that it took me over four hours to achieve my best time. To achieve this, I analyzed the whole circuit surgically: when to re-accelerate, brake, go around, etc. I don’t think I did the perfect tour, but I’m not far from it…

MNC: Some tips for other players ?
Couki : OK, I’m going to help them a bit … First of all, you have to drive a lot on the track to find the right line. Second tip: look for landmarks on the track and try out trajectories, even if it means falling afterwards. Third advice: you have to cut the green bands a minimum (not too much because you lose too much speed, but you still have to cut them). Last advice and rather a tip: when you arrive at the end of the straight line after the start, you have to pull over to the right and jump on the brakes in order to approach the next S while accelerating, which gives us good speed advanced for the next section … I also posted my first advice on the Site Forum !

While waiting to see how long the chrono d’Along will hold (see box above) at the top of the Ducati Challenge, stay tuned and do not hesitate to try your luck on to win a Shoei X-Spirit II Replica helmet from a value of 829 euros: the race is still long until midnight February 28, anything can still happen !
