New 2012: Yamaha VMax Hyper Modified and Series Gray

VMax "Hyper modified": more is really possible ?

Initiator of the genre of Muscle Bike, the VMax is designed to stick in the eye and tear the arms. However, in its original juice, we must recognize that the second version of the "monstrous" and expensive Yamaha (200 hp, 310 kg, 21 990 €!) Faithfully fulfills the contract (read our) !

And yet, the brand with three tuning forks seems to think that it is possible to push the concept even further. !

Yamaha has thus entrusted a VMax to three of the most creative motorcycle designers (the French, the German and the American) to offer them "the unique opportunity to create a hyper-modified masterpiece".

Called "VMax Hyper Modified", these three exceptional motorcycles (probably sold in the "Hyper Limited" series) will be discovered at the Motorcycle Show in Milan (Italy) from November 8 to 13.

But to keep interested parties in suspense until the EICMA, Yamaha is launching one where a very nice video serves as an appetizer … without of course revealing any additional detail on the creations of Lazareth, Walz and Sands !

Extension of the Series Gray range

For 2012, Yamaha has also decided to expand its range of colors available: in addition to the limited quantities of R1, R6, YZF-R125, FZ8, Aerox and TZR50 in "WGP 50th Anniversary" colors (read our), Yam ‘will offer a larger choice of models with the Series Gray finish.

Described as an "eye-catching" livery intended for "riders with a sense of style", this pretty satin gray shade will be available in a limited edition on the following 2012 Yamaha: YZF-R1, YZF-R6, FZ8, Fazer8, XT1200Z Tenere and YZF-R125.
