New in 2016: the Z800, Z1000 and ZX-10R offer special series

Kawasaki offers two major novelties at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan: the new ZX-10R – whose qualities on the circuit are hardly in doubt -, and its new J125 scooter, certainly much less dynamic, but with much commercial potential. most important ! Z800 and Z1000 "Sugomi Editions"

These special editions can be recognized by their dark red and black colors, as well as by their graphics different from the standard Z800 and Z1000, chosen by Kawasaki to reinforce the "Sugomi" spirit of its star roadsters..

Several parts also benefit from an anodized treatment like the sleeves of the inverted forks, while an Akrapovic silencer is installed as standard..

ZX-10R Winter Edition

During the winter tests of World Superbike or MotoGP, the motorcycles approach black fairings, free of all markings and sponsors. Their official dresses and "warpaint" are usually revealed shortly before the start of the season, when all partnerships are sealed..

For the first time, Kawasaki has decided to market a motorcycle almost identical to the "pre-season" version, entirely black with white markings and approved Akrapovic carbon silencer.. 

In detail, this ZX-10R Winter Edition receives the same snowflake symbol on its front face as on the test bikes from Rea and Sykes, as well as the character "fuyu" which symbolizes the word winter in Japanese.. 

“For years we have been asked if Kawasaki will release a special Winter Edition livery on the Ninja ZX-10R,” comments Shigemi Tanaka of Kawasaki Motors Europe. "It seems now is the right time to do it following the success of Jonathan Rea and the whole team in the world championship, but also the launch of the new Ninja ZX-10R 2016, symbol of the collaboration between the KRT and the Kawasaki factory in Akashi".
