First round of new Honda 2010
Honda presents its first new products for 2010 with some evolutions and new colors: scooters SH125i and SH300i, 125 Varadero, custom Shadow Spirit 750 ABS, roadsters CB1000R and CBF600N and S and sports CBR600RR and 1000 Fireblade. Discovery.
Scooters and 125: SH125i, SH300i and XL125 Varadero see it all !
Widely present in Italy, large-wheeled scooters are struggling to really find their audience in France … The fault of a load capacity logically reduced by the 16-inch wheels, a point often capital in the choice of a two- wheels for urban use.
In an attempt to increase the seductive power of its SH125i and SH300i, the leading manufacturer has therefore revised its color palette for 2010 and notably declines its eighth liter in matte gray-black for its "Sporty" version and in white, silver or red on standard models. By the way, the version equipped with the rear drum brake disappears in favor of the model equipped with the simple 240 mm disc with single-piston caliper. Available from November 2009, the 2010 SH125i is still displayed at € 3,490.
More punchy thanks to its 279.1 cc 4-stroke single cylinder, the SH300i suffered from a price inflation that would not facilitate its distribution in 2010: it went from € 5,290 to € 5,790…
Anxious to enhance its versatility, Honda nevertheless offers an original top-case tuned to the trim, whose 35-liter capacity effectively completes the spaces under the saddle and in the glove box. The SH300i will also be available from November in black, silver or white.
An indestructible best seller in the Honda 125 range, the XL Varadero 125 is also relying on new colors to pursue its exemplary career. The two-cylinder injection trail thus tries sober black or silver dresses in its standard version and black or white for the Deluxe model. Available from September in dealerships (priced at € 5,290 and € 5,390 in Deluxe version), the comfortable Honda 125 retains its recognized strengths such as its contained weight (169 kg fully loaded) and good range, authorized by its 17 liter tank.
