New MV Agusta limited series: Dragster 800 RC
In the grip of new financial difficulties, MV Agusta is reviving one of its old habits: launching prestigious limited series with all their hands … After the F3 675 RC (Reparto Corse) and the F4 RC, here is the Dragster 800 RC !
Built from the turbulent Brutale 800, the is an (d) astonishing mix between roadster and custom, with 140 hp from its fiery 3-cylinder and its huge 200 mm rear tire. A motorcycle with a flashy look, totally assumed, and as is often the case with very sophisticated MV (adjustable and deactivatable traction control, four driving modes, ABS and shifter operating on upshifts and downshifts).
In this new RC version, it receives a livery in the colors of the competition department of the Varese brand, whose 37 Grand Prix titles – in a past that has become distant … – are recalled in figures on its sides. To validate its status as a limited series of only 350 copies, this Dragster 800 RC is equipped with carbon parts – front fenders and radiator deflectors, in particular – and forged wheels, both light and prestigious..
