From February 2021, the Xmax 300 will benefit from the services of a new 292 cc "Blue Core" single cylinder, compliant with the Euro5 standard and more efficient by 6% in terms of fuel, i.e. 3 l / 100km (Vs 3, 33 l / 100km for the Forza 350 …). The Yamaha will develop 27.6 hp and 29 newton-meters, against 29.2 hp and 31.5 Nm for the future Honda.

"The Xmax 300 combines the performance of a maxi scooter with exceptional agility and lightness," says Yamaha. Weighing 38 kg less than the Tmax 560 (and 4 kg less than the Forza 350), it would be "the ideal choice for daily trips, but also for sporting outings that break the routine".

"As its 20th anniversary approaches, this flagship model continues to show the way" and to be sold by full containers: since the start of the year, the Tmax 560 has sold 4,816 units! By way of comparison, Honda sold "only" 1251 X-Adv 750. Be careful though: the Forza 750 comes to the rescue !

As a reminder, the Tmax 560 "Tech Max" differs from the base model via its electric screen, its speed regulator, its heated handles and saddle, not to mention its specific colors. For the new year, the 2021 brothers also have a "Tech Max" finish, but cosmetic only…

In addition to the Tech Max emblem, the Xmax receive the following items: special saddle with particular padding and matching colored stitching, anodized footboard plates, fork sleeves painted in "Frost" silver, Gilles Tooling grips and specific colors … in order to better compete with Forza 350 (Gray, Blue, White or Black) and Forza 125 (Gray, White, Black, Silver or Red).
