Practical guides - Which motorcycles for less than 7,622.45 euros (50,000 francs)? - All Kawasaki motorcycles under 50,000 francs (7,622.45 €)

Since 2002, the euro has upset our benchmarks and encouraged price increases… However, with the crisis, measuring the value of its purchases has nevertheless become essential: MNC lists all motorcycles below the 50,000 FF mark, or 7622.45 €! Purchase guide.

All Kawasaki motorcycles under 50,000 francs (€ 7,622.45)

ER-6n (€ 6,299 or 41,318.73 francs) and ER-f (€ 6,699 or 43,942.56 francs)

Discovered at the end of 2005, the Kawasaki ER-6 is the archetype of the motorcycle putting aside the hunt for performance to bet everything on the simplicity of handling and the joie de vivre delivered by its parallel twin of 72 hp and 66 Nm of couple! A true phenomenon, the "Zak" can pride itself on reconciling fun with the ease of a motorbike school (which moreover quickly adopted it), whatever the route or the pace. Light (200 kg with full tank without ABS), the ER-6n twirls around curves, brakes correctly and consumes little (read our).

Qualities successfully resumed on its more road-oriented version: the ER-6f (read our). Praised in France, the ER-6 also owes its success to a punchy look and an attractive price: even with the ABS option, the ER-6n (€ 6,899 or 45,254.47 francs) and the ER- 6f (7 299 € or 47 878.30 francs) manage to stay under the limit of "five sticks" imposed by our guide !

Z 750 (€ 7,499 or CHF 49,190.22)

Derived from the Z 1000, the Kawasaki Z 750 has been driving the cash drawers of Kawasaki dealerships crazy since its launch at the end of 2003! Thanks to a simple but relevant concept (the performance of a 750 cc for the price of a 600), the "Zed" has met with phenomenal success and has positioned itself at the top of French sales since 2004 (read in particular our). Neat, the Z 750 seduces with its aggressive plastic and its torque (8 mkg) available very early, which KOs its competitors !

With its 106 hp regulations, the Green is not yet the most powerful in the segment and the 7 kg it took during its overhaul in 2007 (226 kg all full) strain its agility in small corners. As for its damping, it loses a little of its superb when it comes to arson time. !

A bit clumsy in "sport" mode, the Z 750 is nonetheless the most popular of the roadster genre, proving on its own that the manufacturers’ progressive disinterest in the 750 displacement is tantamount to real strategic nonsense. And it is not Yamaha, with its (very!) Announced FZ8 (read), who will say the opposite !

Versys (€ 7,399 or 48,534.26 francs)

Half-roadster, half-trail, the Kawasaki Versys takes advantage of the excellent engine base and chassis of the ER-6 to offer a road version that is fun to drive and inexpensive. Improved in 2010 to try to cope with slightly disappointing sales figures (read our), this motorcycle powered by an agile 649 cc twin-cylinder will respond with the same good nature to utility use as to sudden urges to escape (206 kg all full).

However, if its adjustable screen, its comfortable position and its healthy and predictable behavior make it more versatile than a roadster, its braking and its 64 hp a little tight in duet with weapons and luggage do not make the Versys a long road. Classes. An ambiguous positioning which, combined with a daring aesthetic bias, undoubtedly contributes to its lack of commercial success…
