The Derbi Mulhacen 659, the first "large-displacement" motorcycle produced by the Spanish brand of Piaggio, this year shows a price reduction for the least advantageous: 4490 euros instead of 5990, compared to the 7500 euros announced when it was released !

Announced at 7,500 euros when it was released and then displayed at 5,990 euros, the Derbi Mulhacen 659 presented in 2006 (read) is today the subject of a lower price for the least advantageous.

Result: the "big" Derbi (owned by the Piaggio group) with an attractive dirt-track look and a touch of retro – which only sold 35 copies last year in France when 200 units were available – is being negotiated now new at 4490 euros.

An excellent opportunity to get market share on the side of the Yamaha MT-03 (247 sales last year) or the Aprilia Pegaso (106 sales), equipped with the same single cylinder as the Derbi Mulhacen just like, in another register, the Yamaha XT660.

But the objective claimed by Derbi remains the same: "satisfy the most demanding design lovers while remaining in perfect harmony with the purest dirt track spirit", explains the Spanish manufacturer.

Finally, for motorists tired of traffic jams, its little sister of 125 cc is also still available at a price of 3,599 euros.
