To the chagrin of the engineers of Noale’s crest, yet convinced of having gathered all the ingredients to entice fans of medium-displacement sporty roadsters by concocting the Shiver (read in particular our) !
To strengthen the appeal of its recipe, Aprilia has therefore decided to grant a nice discount to its twin-cylinder 749.9 cc: until December 31, 2011, the price of the Shiver 750 goes to € 6,499 instead of 7,799 €, i.e. 1300 € discount !
The ABS version also benefits from the temporary generosity of Aprilia, since it is displayed at € 7,699 instead of € 8,399 (€ 700 discount). What’s more, for the duration of the operation, Aprilia offers to equip this same Shiver 750 ABS with Akrapovic exhausts for an additional € 1.
For once, with this price positioning for the less aggressive – it is the current owners of Shiver who will be happy! -, the Shiver 750 could well (a little more) shade the Kawasaki Z750 (7799 €), Triumph Street Triple (7990 €), Suzuki GSR (7849 €), Yamaha FZ8 (7999 €) and other Monster 796 ( € 9,190) !
