The provisional accident report from the National Interministerial Road Safety Observatory (ONISR) for the month of September 2014 indicates an increase of + 1.3% in road deaths, i.e. 4 additional deaths compared to September 2013.

Afterwards, those concerning bikers started to rise again, bringing to + 1% the total over 12 rolling months of the number of owners of large-displacement motorcycles killed in a road accident..

A situation which can be explained above all by the weather forecast according to Road Safety, which recalls that in September "the sun and temperatures were particularly summery throughout France". The number of bodily accidents as well as the number of people injured has fallen by -5.1% and -4.7% respectively, all user categories combined.
