This increase mainly affects motorists, pedestrians and cyclists. Conversely, the number of fatal accidents on motorbikes and scooters over 125cc continues, as do those concerning the moped category (50cc).
The other indicators of road accidents, all users combined, have fallen significantly: bodily accidents and injuries to people have fallen by -10.1%, while the number of people hospitalized has fallen by -13.5%.
"Over the last twelve months, from February 2014 to January 2015, road fatalities have increased by 4.8% compared to the same period the previous year", nevertheless alarms the National Interministerial Road Safety Observatory (ONISR) in its monthly report …
