Timetables, stakes and program of the GP of Aragon MotoGP, the fourteenth round of the 2019 world championship to follow this weekend on MNC. Please note: the start of the MotoGP race will be brought forward by one hour !

The Misano GP has hardly finished – with the! – that the GP of Aragon is already looming, the last race in Europe before the Asia Pacific tour and then the final in Valencia !

  • MNC special file :

"MotorLand Aragon is a very demanding circuit with its profile and the track can be cold in the morning and overheated in the afternoon," predicts Piero Taramasso, head of two-wheelers at Michelin Motorsport. "The asphalt is very abrasive, especially when the wind deposits dust on the track. We have composed the range of tires taking into account all these constraints and we are confident that, as we saw last year – when the temperatures were the highest in Aragon for a MotoGP – all the tires offered had been used and had performed well ".

Marc Marquez, official Honda n ° 93 (1st in the championship) : "After a fantastic victory in Misano I can’t wait to get back on track, especially in Aragon where I really feel at home, it’s very close to Cervera (his native village, Editor’s note). We have a good lead in the championship , but that doesn’t change our approach to the weekend: we keep pushing and trying to reach our maximum! "

Andrea Dovizioso, official Ducati n ° 4 (2nd in the championship) : "Motorland is one of the most unusual circuits on the calendar. I had never really done well there, but last year we were very competitive and we finished second. So we come this weekend with this memory and this state of mind.As we have seen in Misano, each race is a world apart and everything can change from year to year, but we will try to be quick to place ourselves at outposts all weekend ".

Danilo Petrucci, official Ducati n ° 9 (3rd in the championship) : "I really like the Alcañiz circuit, although for various reasons I have never achieved good results here. I hope this will be an opportunity to reverse the trend of the last races. At Silverstone and Misano I was faster in the race than in training, so I have to improve all weekend to start ahead of Sunday. The team is doing an excellent job but we still have to take a step forward to tackle the last part of the season positively and defend third place in the standings, which is currently my main target ".

Alex Rins, official Suzuki n ° 42 (4th in the championship) : "Motorland is a great place and last year I had a good race there, battling ahead to finish fourth. I’m glad we came straight from Misano as I can’t wait to get back on track and Finish well. There is always a good atmosphere with the Spanish fans and I can’t wait to feel their support. ".

Maverick Viñales, official Yamaha n ° 12 (5th in the championship) : "After my podium in Misano, I am extremely optimistic about my coming to Aragon. As with every Spanish round, it is a very special GP for me because the fans and the atmosphere are great and I really like this circuit . We have done a good job and I hope to be quick here too. We will try to stay focused on our goal and we want to continue to improve every race weekend. We have seen our potential improve further. more since the start of the second half of the season, so I think we can do a good job ".

Valentino Rossi, official Yamaha n ° 46 (6th in the championship) : "We saw in Misano what we have to work on and we will focus on that this weekend. Historically, Aragon is a difficult track for us. We have always struggled here, but this time we come after good races. We will have to work hard at this Grand Prix but we hope to be more competitive than before ".

Fabio Quartararo, Yamaha satellite n ° 20 (7th in the championship) : "My fight with Marc in Misano gives me a lot of confidence for Aragon. It showed how good a job we had done there. Only five days after getting off the bike in very good conditions, I was riding again . The long straights aren’t too much of a problem for us as we have shown at Red Bull Ring and Misano that if I get a good start and do five good laps at the start, I can be in the game. the aim will be to get back to the front line, because we have to ensure a good start, and then we will do our best as always ".

Franco Morbidelli, Yamaha satellite n ° 21 (10th in the championship) : "Right now I’m feeling very good on the bike and I’ve had two good races at Silverstone and Misano, so we are coming very confident. We hope the level will be similar to last weekend despite the long straight line of Aragon, because we have found something that allows us to be faster in the corners. I had won there in 2017 in Moto2, I was on the podium the previous season and last year j was very fast, so it’s a track where I already have good memories ".

Joan Mir, official Suzuki n ° 36 (13th in the championship) : "I love Aragon, I always love to ride here and I hope to be even stronger than in Misano. It is a special place for me because I have already won twice here and still have a positive feeling. I think it could also suit our bike. I’m looking forward to this moment, I’m ready to work hard and try to put on a good performance in front of my fans ".

Jorge Lorenzo, official Honda n ° 99 (19th in the championship) : "Aragon is a circuit that I like and where I had good results. In Misano we started the weekend well, so I think we can be strong. Our goal is to continue closing the gap on the outposts because I’m progressing physically and finishing better than at Silverstone (, Editor’s note) and Misano (also, Editor’s note). It will be good to ride in front of the local fans before starting our Asia Pacific tour ".
