The Parisian motorcycle circuit Carole (93) is operational again and is hosting its first day of driving today, almost three months after its closure aimed at carrying out major renovations and upgrades in terms of safety ( read in particular MNC of June 15, 2012).

Carole: tour with a social vocation

Located not far from Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport, Carole is a 2055 m circuit inaugurated in 1979 with the aim of putting an end to the draws of wads – often fatal – organized in the Halles of the Parisian market of Rungis.

The only French circuit to make its bitumen available free of charge to motorcyclists 26 weekends a year, it has a real social vocation and is part of the French motorcycling heritage. So many arguments that convinced the FFM to take over management in order to ensure its sustainability..

Now managed by the French Motorcycling Federation (read), this track located in Tremblay-en-France would have "had a facelift", according to its officials. Aging and moderately secure, Carole has notably evolved by adopting approved fencing and barriers in risk areas..

According to photos published on the, clearances have also been improved, as well as the reception reserved for the public and its comfort. And it will not be luxury, given the dilapidation of the previous installations !

This month, paid driving days will be held there on Tuesday September 4 and 18, Wednesday September 5 and 12, as well as Thursday September 13. A Supermoto World Championship event will also be organized on September 22 and 23, while a French Cup Promosport round will take place the following weekend.. 

The FFM has scheduled a press conference on September 18 during which its president, Jacques Bolle, will come back in detail on the changes made to the Carole circuit and its future. Site will of course be present: stay connected !
