Stephane Peterhansel, six-time Dakar motorcycle winner with Yamaha, returns to the tracks of his past exploits with the prototype of the new Tenere 700. Nostalgic sequence for "Monsieur Dakar", who says he has found the soul of the Tenere line on this new eagerly awaited trail !

Yamaha, aware of the frustration generated by such a long wait, regularly publishes suggestive videos of its rally-raid-inspired motorcycle to furnish the (all) terrain, as part of a communication campaign called "World Raid Tenere 700 ".

The principle is simple: a top driver takes control of the "T7" proto in evocative places, just to "turn up the sauce" and validate its off-road capabilities. The second episode of this series features Stephane Peterhansel himself in the dunes of Morocco, on the land of his six victories signed on Yamaha motorcycles in 1991, 1992, 1993, 1995, 1997 and 1998.

"Monsieur Dakar" – who in the meantime has won seven other Dakar titles in the car category with Peugeot – does not hesitate to make the new Tenere 700 leap through the Moroccan sand dunes. Soon to be 53 years old (August 6), the rally-raid specialist has certainly kept an excellent handlebars. !

Very comfortable on this new Yamaha, the pilot seems more captivated by the emotion of returning to these spectacular landscapes without the pressure of the competition than by the Tenere 700! Those who were waiting for a plethora of details on the bike will undoubtedly be a little unsatisfied … but the others will appreciate these few moments of sharing with an authentic legend.

The next episode of the World Raid Tenere 700 will head to Argentina, South America, where it is now taking place.
