Spies draws and holds up in World Superbike !

Friday afternoon during the Superpole, the American persists and signs at the controls of his official R1: Ben "Elbowz" – in reference to his "elbows" which touch in the turns! – Spies completed the Losail circuit in 1’59.052 and obtained, for his second participation only, his second pole position in the World Superbike !

Regis Laconi, very impressive in Australia, climbs to a satisfactory 11th place on the starting grid behind Rolfo and Fabrizio. The first Kawasaki – that of Broc Parkes – is 13th, just ahead of the first Suzuki – that of Kagayama – and the two BMWs of Xaus and Corser.
