WSSP Malaysia: Jacobsen dominates, Cluzel goes up

In the 5th lap, Lorenzo Zanetti gradually lost contact with the three strongmen of the 2015 championship. Sofuoglu attacked Cluzel in the following loop but could not stay ahead of the MV Agusta driver. Regardless, the main thing for Turkish was to signal your presence to French !

Cluzel took advantage of Jacobsen’s only mistake to slip his # 16 MV Agusta under the # 99 Honda, but Jules did not come out as well as Patrick and had to settle for second place in the end. Jacobsen thus wins his first World Supersport victory, the first also for an American driver. !

Three seconds later, Zanetti tumbles past Sofuoglu under the checkered flag. The Turkish driver thus lets slip three more points in the championship: Kenan totals 168 points against 155 for Jules … and 140 for Patrick still in contention for the title, just like Lorenzo besides (113 points).

There are only three races left for the World Supersport drivers, so 75 points to be decided. The next 25 will be up for grabs at the Andalusian circuit in Jerez on September 20. Stay connected !
