MV-Agusta is clearly identified as a luxury motorcycle brand. Introduced directly into the design elite with the 750 F4S, then into the closed clan of overpowered hypersports with the 1000 F4, the Italian brand is gradually sliding towards alliances of very high pedigree.
The F4 sports car has joined forces with prestigious names: Senna, Agostini, Tamburini, Castiglione. The Brutale, considered one of the most beautiful and prestigious roadsters, forges alliances with the kingdom of luxury. After the Hydrogen series, the 910 R is available in a limited series with another respectable name: Wally.
Certainly, if you do not live in Monaco and do not frequent the jet-set, this name will not appeal to you. It is however worth the detour. Wally is a luxury yacht manufacturer in Monte-Carlo. Founded by the rich Italian Luca Bassani about fifteen years ago, this company is the reference in the field of composite hulls and considered as one of the most prestigious manufacturer of boats..
We are therefore in the presence of a beautiful alliance of renown. This Brutale with a very sober design, just embellished with a tank decoration, a saddle marked Wally and the Wallypower stamp on the thighs, will be produced in 118 copies. A nod to one of the shipowner’s productions: it is the length in feet of the Wallypower 118, a superb production, which we could see in the cinema in the film “The island” with Ewan McGregor and Scarlett johansson.
The specifics of this Brutale remain identical to the standard 910 R. 136 horsepower, Brembo radial calipers, 50mm diameter fork, big character and crazy reputation. On the other hand, the price to the big head price: 21,900 euros. Which makes us more than 3500 euros for a few stickers and a name reserved for the leaders of the CAC 40. Only 4 copies are planned for France. And if you’re tempted by a Wallypower 118, save money right away; you need a little over 13,000 months of minimum wage to afford it.
