MV-Agusta Brutale 1090 2015

Menus

The Brutale is available with two types of engines: 3 or 4 cylinders. The beauty of the roadster begins in 675 and ends in 1090. Glamorous people will opt for the R, the daring for the RR, those discovering emotions will be tempted by the standard version presented here. This Brutale 1090 replaced the 920 in the catalog, the latter being too close to the recent 800 with 3 legs.

For an almost accessible price (for an MV), the “basic” 1090 skips a few cosmetic refinements but benefits from the same engine as the R. The pilot can thus count on the 144 horsepower of an engine known to be temperamental. 8-level traction control is there to prevent too much cold sweat.

Lattice frame, beveled exhaust flutes, single-sided and large inverted fork, design in the sky, the Brutale knows how to please. More expensive but more muscular than the 920, this entry level in the violence of the roadsters of Varese favors the essential for a little less distinction. ABS is now standard on the Brutale. But how do you get this kind of safeguard to be accepted by such a distinguished machine? By grafting him a Bosch 9MP. An anti-blocking device that is at the same time light, disconnectable and which knows how to be sporty. It’s up to you to measure its intervention: Normal for road use, Race for the circuit or muscular arsenal, or deactivated if you control your confidence.
