The naked 1000er from MZ comes – it was also time!

Two aggressive design studies presented the oldest German motorcycle manufacturers on the Intermot. On the basis of the award-winning fully clad 1000 s, MZ showed the production-near model of a sincere Naked Bikes in the handsome Street Fighter Look.

SF like science fiction
Instead of simply putting an N – for Naked – right behind the cubic number, MZ also went his own ways here, and chose the abbreviation SF. However, this is not for Science Fiction, but just for "Street Fighter". For example, the fan base hopes that the naked version finds more rapidly from the fair in reality when it was the case with the disguised version, which has been on sale since December 2003.
Exclusive two-litter series engine
After all, it would also be too bad to escape the brave engine in the long run. Because such a 2-cylinder series engine with 1000 cubic is looking for in vain in the competition. The aggregate makes 117 hp in the disguised variant and is likely to drive the SF version accordingly. The maximum speed of the 1000 S of 240 km / h is hardly possible to be achieved without panel – but what does that play for a role when you move such a character-strong bike as the SF? Remains to be hoped that the production models do not differ too much from the vehicles shown.
Artist Flatz "refined" MZ
What else you can do with a big MZ showed the artist Flatz. Two MZ 1000 S were transformed into art objects and baptized on the names "Hera and Hades". Accordingly, Hera – the Greek Sky Goddess – coated with 100 kilos of crystal, so that it glitens now like a disco ball on wheels, while Hades – the god of the underworld – hairy, dark and evil from the shadow lugs. Steel fragments, coat and a lot, lots of matt black color gave the MZ the necessary design.
