Only the Rebello 1200 Giubileo ("Jubilee" in Italian) "ordered before April 14 will be produced this year", continues Moto Morini, which will deliver the motorcycles concerned on December 31, 2012. To reassure enthusiasts, the brand has however unveiled all the characteristics of this famous Rebello 1200 Giubileo: it is a roadster with, er, special lines and a stocky look powered by the stormy V-twin at 87 ° de la Corsaro (read our).
Given for 130 hp and 122 Nm of torque (full), this 1187 cc twin cylinder is mated to a six-speed gearbox managed by a multi-disc clutch in an oil bath with an anti-dribble system..
As usual with Moto Morini, this beautiful mechanical part is inserted with a shoehorn in a tubular steel trellis frame on which are grafted high-end peripherals: inverted Marzocchi 50 mm fork and fully adjustable Ohlins mono-shock absorber, as well as 320mm brake discs bitten by one-piece Brembo radial-mount calipers.
With relatively contained measurements (2070 mm long, 1450 mm wheelbase, 810 mm wide and 198 kg without gasoline), the Rebello 1200 Giubileo exhibits a saddle culminating at 830 mm. Strictly single-seater in appearance, this seat conceals a wickedly gambergee trick: an electrical system allows the hull and the pilot backrest to slide backwards to accommodate a passenger (see the photo and video below).
