Zero XP from Untitled Motorcycles

Custom conversion based on SR / F

The customizers from Untitled Motorcycles have pre-knotted the Zero SR / F and formed a more retro-heavy conversion called Zero XP from it.

The celebrated its first big public appearance Zero XP from Untitled Motorcycles at the Goodwood Festival on July 4, 2019. As a basis, the customizers decided on the new Zero SR / F and donated a lot of new components to the electric bike. The aim of the renovation was to combine modern and future-oriented technology with classic elements.

Electric drive meets Cafe Racer

The Zero XP is powered by the 80 kW electric motor in combination with the 14.4 kWh battery, which is also used in the current SR / F and which allows a top speed of up to 200 km / h. According to the manufacturer, the range should be 130 to 250 kilometers, depending on the driving style. The customizers put the weight at 218 kilograms.

Most parts of the Zero XP are made of aluminum and polycarbonate.

Otherwise there isn’t really much left of the SR / F. In addition to the overall look, the clip-on handlebars should catch the eye first. Many components were manufactured using CNC milling technology. Most of the components are made of aluminum or polycarbonate. When it comes to the paintwork, the customizers from Untitled Motorcycles have done nothing and rely on a simple metallic gray / silver called "Ghost Gray". The bench is also made by CNC with a newly designed seat cushion. In order to redesign the motorcycle according to your own wishes, the original frame of the SR / F had to be adjusted a little. Also included are Pirelli slicks. The customizers opted for LED light sources for the lighting. LED lights were also installed in the small winglets.

What is Zero planning?

So far, Zero has relied on modern design for the look of its models. Most zero bikes come as naked bikes. However, Zero likes to go other ways. With the Zero Black Forest, an electric motorcycle in enduro form was put on its wheels, which is supposed to be characterized by longer ranges. It is quite possible that the Zero designers will take an example from the XP and develop electric motorcycles with a retro approach in the future.
