GSX-R 1000: a limited edition for the 25th anniversary !

Site readers know it perfectly well: the GSX-R is preparing to celebrate its 25th birthday this year (read MNC of December 2, 2009: the GSX-R myth celebrates its 25th anniversary)! And they also know that it is on May 16 in Carole that the birthday party will be held – the "party", we rather say at her age – of Gex in France …

Site readers know it perfectly well: the GSX-R is preparing to celebrate its 25th birthday this year (read)! And they also know that it is on May 16 in Carole that the birthday party will be held – the "party", we rather say at his age – of Gex in France (read).

But what Site readers didn’t know until now is that Suzuki has concocted for its most fervent admirers a limited edition of its GSX-R 1000: limited to 1000 copies – necessarily! -, this version will be based on the white and gold Gex 1000.

In addition to this terribly trendy color, these 1000 GSX-R "not like the others" will be equipped with carbon parts (front and rear mudguards, engine crankcase protector and clutch casing protector), a double curved smoke screen, laser-engraved rims and a double Yoshimura GP Evo exhaust marked with the "25th Anniversary" logo.

Duly numbered, these GSX-R 1000 "25th Anniversary Edition" – which unfortunately we do not have an overview … – will cost € 15,999, or € 1,500 more than the standard models. The price of rarity, no doubt: 300 of these Gex are intended for the French market, not one more !
