20 Suzuki GSX-R 1000 limited edition Yoshimura

To celebrate 30 years of partnership with Yoshimura (see box at the end of the article), Suzuki France is offering 20 models of GSX-R 1000 (read in particular our Test of the GSX-R 1000 K9) in the colors of the winning machine of the last 8 Suzuka Hours, the most important motorcycle endurance race in Japanese eyes.

To celebrate 30 years of partnership with Yoshimura (read box at the end of the article), Suzuki France is offering 20 models of GSX-R 1000 (read in particular our) in the colors of the winning machine of the last 8 Hours of Suzuka, the race of most important motorcycle endurance in Japanese eyes.

Available from the end of May 2010 in the, these numbered Gex are of course equipped with Yoshimura silencers, with GP Evo IVS which replace the original components..

Hideo "Pops" Yoshimura

The Japanese preparer Hideo "Pops" Yoshimura became known at the end of the Second World War by "inflating" the Triumphs and other BSA of the American soldiers stationed on the archipelago. Driven by its passion for competition, the Japanese brand will gradually specialize in the design of exhausts, the quality of construction and performance of which will not escape the greatest manufacturers like Suzuki, with whom Yoshimura has maintained privileged relations for more than 30 years.

But prestige and rarity naturally come at a cost: a supplement of € 4,000 will be requested to set off again on the handlebars of this ultra-limited series of the GSX-R 1000 Yoshimura, which will trade at € 18,499 instead of € 14,499 for the "traditional" GSX-R 1000.
