Seven years after the first drafts of the project and three years before its marketing in 2003, the Midual appears on the web. The brothers Olivier and François Midy, brilliant creators of the splendid "new French motorcycle" (see Moto-Net Special Salon), have just launched the site, whose domain name was registered on September 8, 1999 by Unimedia. The site presents this 900 cc flat-twin, the main feature of which is that it is facing the road unlike the BMWs – a tribute to the Englishman Douglas – as "a new European motorcycle". Midual therefore does not position itself as a direct competitor of the Voxan, to which it also pays tribute for having dared "to launch into the race", just like to Triumph which knew "reborn from its ashes".
